Half-Life 2 is a first-person shooter video game, the sequel to Half-Life and a second title in the Half-Life series. Developed by Valve Corporation, originally released on November 16, 2004 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Mac OS X platforms. Like the first game Half_Life that was released on November 1998, Half-Life 2 met with almost unanimous critical acclaim. The game was praised for its advanced physics, animation, sound, AI, graphics, and narration.

Half-Life 2 is a singleplayer divided into chapters, permanent casting the player as Gordon Freeman. The sequel has nearly the same mechanisms as Half-Life, including health-and-weapons systems and periodic physics puzzles. The player also starts without items, slowly creating an arsenal during the game. Despite mostly linear nature of the game, a lot of effort was put in production and exploration reward interesting; Many optional areas may be missed or avoided.

Film yang memakan korban saat pembuatannya

1. Twilight Zone

Korban: Vic Morrow dan aktor cilik Myca Dinh Le (umur 7) dan Renee Shin-Yi Chen (umur 6). Selama segmen film yang diarahkan oleh John Landis pada 23 Juli 1982, aktor Vic Morrow dan aktor cilik Myca Dinh Le (umur 7) juga Renee Shin-Yi Chen (umur 6) meninggal dalam kecelakaan yang melibatkan sebuah helikopter yang digunakan. Helikopter yang telah berada di ketinggian hanya 25 kaki (8 meter), terlalu rendah untuk menghindari ledakan yang digunakan pada pembuatan ledakan. Kecelakaan ini menyebabkan larangan terhadap dunia film untuk melarang anak2 terlibat dalam kegiatan berbahaya di film.

2. Top Gun

Korban: Art Scholl. Pilot aerobatic terkenal, Art Scholl, yang direkrut untuk melakukan penerbangan di film untuk menghasilkan gambar yg sempurna untuk film. Di dalam naskah Art scholl disuruh untuk melakukan flat spin, tetapi Scholl tidak dapat mengendalikan dan akhirnya pesawat yg diterbangkannya jatuh ke Samudra Pasifik di bagian selatan pantai California. Penyebab kecelakaan tetap tidak diketahui. Top Gun didedikasikan untuk mengingat Art Scholl.

3. The Return of the Musketeers

Korban: Roy Kinnear. Pada 20 September 1988, Madrid, Spanyol, aktor Roy Kinnear patah tulang pinggangnya setelah jatuh dari kuda lalu dia tak dapat ditolong lagi.

4. The Flight of the Phoenix

Korban: Paul Mantz. Di film produksi 1965, Paul Mantz tidak menggunakan stunt untuk menerbangkan pesawat asli untuk hasil film yang maksimal, tetapi dia melakukan kesalahan pada saat manuver take-off.

5. Jumper

Korban: David Ritchie. Untuk pembuatan set di salah satu adegan Samuel Jackson, menggunakan bahan2 campuran dari pasir, tanah dan es… Crew produksi David Ritchie tertimpa pasir beku dan tanah yang ingin di bongkar di salah satu set outdoor, dimana cuaca disaat itu pun lagi dingin2nya.

6. xXx

Korban: Harry L O’connor. Salah satu stunt Van Diesel untuk melakukan parasailing, tetapi naas karena tertabrak jembatan.

7. The Final Season

Korban: Roland Schlotzhauer. Kameramen terkenal yang selalu mengambil gambar berkualitas dari helikopter, naas dibulan oktober 2007, helikopter yg digunakan untuk mengambil gambar di film ini terjatuh.

3. Piramid Giza

Bangunan kuno Mesir ini adalah salah satu bangunan yang terkenal di dunia. Dibangun pada 2500 sebelum masehi, bangunan buatan manusia tertinggi didunia sebelum adanya menara Eiffel di Paris ini memakan waktu sampai dengan 20 tahun.

4. Katedral York Minster

 

Dibangun pada tahun 1220, konstruksi bangunan ini tidak terselesaikan sampai dengan tahun 1472. Bangunan ini dibangun dengan teknik dan peralatan dari jaman pertengahan, butuh waktu sampai dengan dua abad agar bangunan ini terselesaikan dengan sempurna.

5. Chichen Itza

 

Berlokasi di negara Meksiko, Chichen Itza merupakan salah satu peninggalan bangsa Maya. Dibangun daei tahun 600 sebelum masehi proyek bangunan dengan ketelitian perhitungan matematika tingkat tinggi ini menghabiskan waktu selama 400 tahun.

6. Angkor Wat

Dibangun pada pertengahan abad ke 12 oleh kekuasaan Khmer di negara Kamboja, bangunan ini dibangun sebagai penghormatan kepada dewa Vishnu. Dibutuhkan waktu 418 tahun untuk menyelesaikannya.

 

7. Stonehenge

 

Tidak ada seorangpun yang mengetahui secara pasti kapan bangunan ini dibangun, Stonehenge adalah salah satu proyek konstruksi yang banyak membuat orang heran akan proses pembuatannya. Setiap batu memiliki berat lebih dari empat ton dan ditarik sepanjang 240 mil dari Wales utara sampau dengan Wiltshire Inggris. Proyek ini memakan waktu selama 1,600 tahun.

The game also features co op mode for 4 players.
